What have you\nexperimented with before discovering tape?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I have been practicing art professionally since 2007. Before that, I had experimented off and on with letterforms and calligraphy. During all these years my main mediums have been conventional, like ink, acrylic, paper, and canvas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a class=\"imagegallery\" href=\"https:\/\/www.protapes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Sasan-Nasernias-work-is-inspired-by-calligraphy-and-creating-a-personal-visual-lexicon.jpg\" rel=\"imagegallery4045\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.protapes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Sasan-Nasernias-work-is-inspired-by-calligraphy-and-creating-a-personal-visual-lexicon-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"Sasan Nasernia's work is inspired by calligraphy and creating a personal visual lexicon\" class=\"wp-image-4055\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can you tell our audience a little bit about what inspires your artwork and process?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m very much interested in language and its building blocks, words, and letters, both in terms of its epistemological and aesthetic applications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I slowly began to delve into more philosophical and mystical realms, the significance of language became even more vivid to me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I take most of my inspiration from history, literature, and monuments which are representing these philosophical and mystical traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a class=\"imagegallery\" href=\"https:\/\/www.protapes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Sasan-Nasernias-installation-at-the-Sharjah-Art-Museum-2018.jpg\" rel=\"imagegallery4045\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.protapes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Sasan-Nasernias-installation-at-the-Sharjah-Art-Museum-2018-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"Sasan Nasernia's installation at the Sharjah Art Museum 2018\" class=\"wp-image-4057\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How did you discover Pro Tapes<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> tape products? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I first found Pro Tapes<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> at my local art shop in Vancouver where I purchase my materials from. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later, I got in touch with the company to know more about their products and to get help with choosing the most suitable tape for my work from their variety of available models. The Pro Tapes<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> team even kindly provided me with some samples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a class=\"imagegallery\" href=\"https:\/\/www.protapes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Nasernia-says-Pro-Gaff-is-the-perfect-flexible-yet-durable-tape-for-his-art-installations.jpg\" rel=\"imagegallery4045\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.protapes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Nasernia-says-Pro-Gaff-is-the-perfect-flexible-yet-durable-tape-for-his-art-installations-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"Sasan Nasernia says Pro Gaff\u00ae is the perfect flexible yet durable tape product for his art installations\" class=\"wp-image-4059\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What are your favorite qualities of our Pro Tapes<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> products? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I specifically look for a durable, yet flexible product, which if required, allows me to apply paint on it as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my installations, I use the tape in a floating kind of way, where it is fixed at its both ends and the main part is hanging in the air. So the tapes have to be able to hold on and stay stable for weeks at a time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So far, my best option has been <a href=\"\/pro-gaff-tape\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Pro Gaff\u00ae (opens in a new tab)\">Pro Gaff<\/a><sup><a href=\"\/pro-gaff-tape\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Pro Gaff\u00ae (opens in a new tab)\">\u00ae<\/a><\/sup>. It is easy to work with and makes the process much more enjoyable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What other materials or tools do you use alongside tape to\ncreate your art?
