How long have you been practicing art? Could you describe your\neducational and artistic work experience?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

After studying Art and\nGraphic Design in Argentina at UBA (Buenos Aires University) and teaching for Design and Morphology to levels 1 and 2 in, I started my career as a Creative\nDirector for Levi\u2019s Jeans. Known for my flair for style and exceptional\nattention to detail, I went on to design the fashion show and graphics for the\nfirst Hugo Boss store in the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since moving to New York, I\u2019ve\nworked as a freelance designer, creating hundreds of special events for top\nnames including Robert Isabelle, Matthew David Events, Michelle Rago, and\nAntony Todd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, I worked\ninternationally with Sherry Nahid and Colin Cowie on a Royal wedding in Qatar;\nat the opening for the Atlantis resort on a manmade island in Dubai; and at\nprivate parties in Hong Kong, Sydney, Cabo San Lucas, and several islands in\nthe Caribbean. I opened KUKI DESIGNS EVENTS in 2007, producing large-scale\nevents for DIRECTV, Conde Nast, Hearst Corporation, and the Tribeca Film\nFestival. Music festivals like Rock in Rio, Electric\nDaisy, Nocturnal Wonderland, HARD, and more. I also designed the\ndecor of two clubs for Super Bowl weekend in San Francisco and Phoenix AZ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did you get started with tape art (and discovered Pro Tapes\u00ae\nproducts?)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

It was simple: one day a friend of mine gave me two rolls of Pro Gaff\u00ae<\/a> tape, one black and neon Yellow.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which Pro Tapes\u00ae products are your favorites (or that you find\nyourself using the most often)?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Pro Gaff\u00ae<\/a>, especially the UV reactive (fluorescent) rolls. Now I\u2019m trying to get into the metallic tapes, like Pro\u00ae  Sheen<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does tape allow you to do that other media (ex. paint) does\nnot?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I find it to be a great graphic alternative. It\u2019s cleaner and sometimes easier to fix errors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What other media or tools do you use alongside tape to create your\nart, and how do they work together?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes I experiment with acrylic paint for some fabrics or\ngarments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you think about the future of tape as an artistic medium?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Tape will be BIG, I see more and more artists using it in many\ndifferent ways. I love how creative they are with it, and how regular people\nare trying it too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If someone has never tried using tape in their creative practice\nbefore, what advice would you have for them?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Tape is FUN, keep doing it! The more you experiment with it the better and more interesting it will get.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
