There is a renewed, even increasing, demand for adhesive tape expendables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But with recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2022\/01\/25\/entertainment-industry-faces-supply-chain-issues-skills-shortages-and-rising-costs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">supply chain crises<\/a> and raw material shortages, the management team at Pro Tapes\u00ae understood that we would need to invest in new and improved solutions to remain a dependable supplier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That is why Pro Tapes\u00ae leadership has recently invested in technology and productivity across our company in order to continue supporting our global distributor network to the best of our ability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In today\u2019s blog post, we\u2019ll take a look at some of the investments Pro Tapes\u00ae has pursued so that we can continue to support our distributors and the Entertainment Industry at large.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a class=\"imagegallery\" href=\"https:\/\/www.protapes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Pro-Tapes-has-invested-in-an-additional-25000-sq.-ft.-of-warehouse-and-manufacturing-space.jpg\" rel=\"imagegallery5284\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.protapes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Pro-Tapes-has-invested-in-an-additional-25000-sq.-ft.-of-warehouse-and-manufacturing-space-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"Pro Tapes has invested in an additional 25,000 sq. ft. of warehouse and manufacturing space.\" class=\"wp-image-5291\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Expanding our Manufacturing Space to Stay Ahead of the Supply Chain<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2008, Pro Tapes\u00ae has been headquartered in North Brunswick, New Jersey in the US. We currently operate out of a 150,000 sq. ft. facility. This facility is equipped with a complete series of state-of-the art converting and custom packaging equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the uncertainty on lead times of all raw materials, many suppliers have struggled to keep key items in stock when their customers most require them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That is why Pro Tapes\u00ae has recently invested in an additional 25,000 sq. ft. of warehouse and manufacturing space. This investment is part of our strategy to better weather the peaks and valleys in the current global supply chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you offer Pro Gaff\u00ae in 21 colors and hundreds of SKU\u2019s, you require a sizable inventory level on raw materials and finished goods! The investment in additional space will allow for greater inventory levels on all of our key raw materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our most popular tapes \u2013 including <a href=\"\/pro-gaff-tape\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pro Gaff\u00ae<\/a>, <a href=\"\/products\/pro-console-tape\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pro\u00ae Console<\/a>, <a href=\"\/products\/pro-glow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pro Glow\u00ae<\/a>, and <a href=\"\/products\/pro-spike\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pro\u00ae Spike<\/a> to name a few &#8211; are all in stock and ready to ship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a class=\"imagegallery5284\" href=\"https:\/\/www.protapes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Pro-Tapes-has-also-invested-in-new-high-speed-automated-packaging-lines.jpg\" rel=\"imagegallery\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.protapes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Pro-Tapes-has-also-invested-in-new-high-speed-automated-packaging-lines-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"Pro Tapes has also invested in new high-speed automated packaging lines to greatly increase our processing speed.\" class=\"wp-image-5292\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Improving our Packaging and Converting Technology to Add Value for Distributors<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Pro Tapes\u00ae has also invested in new, high-speed automated packaging lines. These new lines can greatly speed up the process of packaging our <a href=\"\/pro-gaff-tape\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pro Gaff\u00ae<\/a> in the most popular sizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, we are also packaging Pro Gaff\u00ae shrink wrapped with a scannable UPC label. This new packaging setup adds values for our distributors, who can display our tape straight out of the case and while staying presentable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scannable UPC labels also allow our customers that sell online to use our GS1 registered UPC numbers to sell our high quality items easily and in an organized fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These investments in our converting technology are custom made to fit our unique needs.
